Natural Goodness
Feel safe choosing Daioni Organic products because they are 100% organic and natural. No chemical pesticides, herbicides, fertilisers, or GMOs – you won’t find any of these nasties on our land. Nor will you find hormones, antibiotics, and artificial flavours or colours in our products. You’ll only find natural goodness here!
It’s vital on an organic farm that we look after our soil because it is the soil that grows our crops for us. We don’t use any fertilisers on our land, instead we nurture it the natural way. Our soil is incredibly fertile which is largely helped by the wide variety of grasses we grow on our farm. Red and white clovers are grown extensively as they take nitrogen from the air and put it back into the soil ready for the next crop, preventing the use of chemical fertilisers. It is the clover too that makes our milk rich with nutrients such as omega 3 and gives its natural, delicious sweetness.
Traceable goodness
Feel confident that we’ll never compromise on quality. Our products are 100% produced and packed in the UK, certified by the leading British organic certification body – the British Soil Association. We’re fully traceable from farm to fridge!
The Soil Association, the UK’s largest certification body with higher organic standards than required by the EU Organic Regulation. No system of farming has higher levels of animal welfare than organic farms working to Soil Association standards. Their standards use the EU organic regulation as a baseline, but in many cases the Soil Association’s specifications are far more stringent. For example in product labelling requirements, use of fertilisers and antibiotics, to name a few.
Our products undergo rigorous testing at each stage of our milk’s journey from our home to yours. At farm level, we operate strict hygiene practices which shows in our unbeatable bacteria counts recorded daily. These low scores mean that our cows are healthy and free of infection, and that the udders and milking equipment are clean throughout the milking process.
