With our base in the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire in West Wales, we at Daioni Organic are spoilt for choice with breath-taking views and stunning walks nearby.
Here are our top picks of must-do walks if you are based in or visiting West Wales:
Top 5 West Wales Walks:
1. Mwnt to Cardigan
The cliffs above Mwnt beach offer spectacular views over Cardigan Bay. The circular walk from Mwnt allows you to nip into Cardigan town to sample some of the famous Cardigan Bay Brownies. You will also come across Mwnt church, the iconic small white church that is thought to be from the 14th Century.
2. Barafundle Bay
This beach is only accessible by a half a mile walk from the nearest car park. But it is certainly worth the journey, with its golden sands and stunning clear blue sea. In fact, Barafundle is consistently named as one of the top beaches in the world, not just Wales!
3. Ffynone Falls
Just a stone’s throw away from our Ffosyficer Farm, we recommend a trip to the little-known falls away from Pembrokeshire’s famous coastline. The woodland walk is a great choice in the autumn to enjoy the magical autumnal colours before you reach the main event of the falls.
4. St Govan’s to Angle
This walk is a little trickier underfoot but offers a variety of landscape. Starting off at St Govan’s chapel hidden away in the cliffs you then cut across land to reach the surfer’s paradise of Freshwater West, before taking the coastal path to the picturesque village of Angle.
5. Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran
The wildlife centre is a perfect day out for all the family to explore the nature trails, maze and adventure playground. You will be surprised at what wildlife you might encounter!
